2015 Range Health Assessment Training

September is sneaking up on us quickly… and if you have not done so already there is still time left to register for one of the Hands-On Range Health Assessment Training days coming up.  

These courses are offered by www.foothillsrestorationforum.ca and provide an understanding of the importance of healthy functioning rangelands and the key indicators used to measure rangeland health; and also feature a curriculum flexible to a variety of experience levels.  The Range Health Assessment protocol is an important tool for pre-site assessments, reclamation design and vegetation monitoring in native grassland.is scheduled to undergo major renovations this fall, but in the meantime the ‘basics’ presentation will be available including registrations (links below) and information regarding the Range Health Training.
